For a while

clouds

We’d weep with the trees, smile,

and laugh for a while.

You’ll pick the last lemon,

there’d be gin in a flask, tea on the stove.

We’d run free in the breeze till we swim in the wheat,

You’d laugh at me as I remember the sea,

or the shape of your smile,

We’d stare at the clouds

or float for a while.
