You were wild once, don’t let them tame you

Mysterious innuendos laced only with prolonged fear. The wildness of affection is raw, brave, passionate, and immediate…it waits for nothing. It is intentional, disorganized and lacks all constraint. Ask any gently formed droplet filled with the gravity of passion if they are scared to fall, or run your finger over them, the answer is always there.

“My feet are gold. My heart is white, and we race out on the desert plains all night”

“Within every woman there is a wild and natural creature, a powerful force, filled with good instincts, passionate creativity, and ageless knowing. Her name is Wild Woman, but she is an endangered species. Though the gifts of the wildish nature come to us at birth, society’s attempt to “civilize” us into rigid roles has plundered this treasure, and muffled the deep, life-giving messages of our own souls.” ~Clarissa Pinkola Estes

You allow the call of poetry to flow through my veins

“my eyes close to the touch of your smile

alive on my lips,

a dream of the sun swimming in your hair,

wild thoughts race always up my neck,

we are running wild”

“Now my heart is gold, my feet are light

And I’m racing out on the desert plains all night”

  1. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!
It’s all: magic, excitement, strength, passion and delicacy.
Yes, I just wake up in me wild woman …I want run like Wadera, free, wild, full of different feelings, fleeing from the world tethered to the conventions and strange morality.
LadyWhiteLilies ! I’m really charmed of images and words!

Yes:”A healthy woman is much like a wolf: robust, chock-full, strong life force, life-giving, territorially aware, inventive, loyal, roving. Yet, separation from the wildish nature causes a woman’s personality to become meager, thin, ghosty, spectral. We are not meant to be puny with frail hair and inability to leap up, inability to chase, to birth, to create a life. When women’s lives are in stasis, or filled with ennui, it is always time for the wildish woman to emerge; it is time for the creating function of the psyche to flood the delta.
How does Wild Woman affect women? With her as ally, as leader, model, teacher, we see, not through two eyes, but through the eyes of intuition which is many-eyed. When we assert intuition, we are therefore like the starry night: we gaze at the world through a thousand eyes.” Clarissa Pinkola Estés

    • To another brave and grateful woman…I say, thank you so much for sharing here Dale. If you or your family ever visit Africa, we’d certainly be happy to show you around some of the wild places. Have a great Sunday.
