wild leaf-woven sea ~ a kind of poetry

imagination

stretching her branches – interlocking dreams, she stares out to an inward sea…
tender colour-wheels of contrast, compassed breeze
passing over masts of self-destruction,
curved shadows, quivering in chandeliers of leaves,
a whirlwind gaze, lost in wild forests, waves, hands,
holding faces, flowers, freezing frames,
petals carried by light-soaked collar bones
breathing magic tides, escaping monotony – all those moments unchosen,
sailing beyond ~
horisons of wild imagination – too close to navigate
lips sail in secret whispers over raised walls of false security,
sprawled across a floating ground.
